Do video tapes last for ever?

No, videotapes have a limited life, from the day they are opened they are slowly deteriorating. Over the years you will notice the colours fading, static in the picture and the lose of sound quality.

Can a Video be restored?

In most cases, it will depend on its age and what damage it was exposed too. As long as the images are available we can replace the music and rescue your video and put it on to a DVD.

How do we transfer a video to DVD?

A video is played in its entirety and downloaded onto a computer then converted to a digital format. Many companies then transfer this image to a DVD and it plays just like a video. We add an extra feature and give you chapters in 4-10 minute increments giving you simple search and skip functions.

How much video we can fit on to a DVD?

You can fit up to one hour of video on to a DVD at the highest quality. 3 hours can be achieved but you will lose some quality. If the video is to long we can use additional DVD.

What will the quality be like?

The quality of the DVD will only be as good as the VHS video tapes and the photographs provided. This is what makes it so much more original and special.

Do we convert 8mm reel to reel film to DVD?

Yes, The quality is very good but it also depends on the quality of the film at the time.

We accept VHS, VHS-C, S-VHS, Video 8, High 8, Digital 8, MiniDV, Betamax.

What format can we save your photographs in?
